Richard L. Clough
Richard and his
wife, Carol, were born and raised in the Kansas
City area. Richard
attended St. Louis Catholic School,
DeLaSalle Military
Academy and Rockhurst College. He
graduated with a
Bachelor of Science degree. He has attended
numerous graduate
courses in marketing and sales. Carol attended
St. Ann’s
Elementary School and St. Mary’s High
School in the
Independence area.
Richard and Carol
have been active in church ministry.
They have been
involved as ushers, lectors, and extraordinary
ministers of Holy
Communion at Mass and to the sick. They
have worked with
parish councils and liturgy committees.
Richard and Carol
will be married 50 years in 2008. They
have four
children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Richard spent his
32-year career in the office products
industry. He
entered the permanent diaconate formation program
for the
Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston in 1999 and
was ordained
January 25, 2003. Richard has served in various
parishes in the
Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston.
Richard and Carol
have recently moved back to the Lee’s
Summit area and
reside in John Knox Village.
